Condition
Excellent condition, just overhauled, re-strung & set-up, by Colin Keefe. Re-levelled & re-fretted fingerboard, so plays like new, with no fret & fingerboard playwear. Finish as near unmarked as you will get, on a possibly near 40 year old Mandolin, but inevitably small marks here & there.....edge finish wear on the headstock & superficial play marking, plus there is a faint lighter "shadow" to the top, where the floating bridge was previously incorrectly positioned....will disappear over time.
Action, strings & cases
Excellent 12th. fret action around 2.25mm./2.75mm.

Re-strung recently, with Rotosound Mandolin Strings........

High quality phosphor bronze wound loop end 8 string mandolin set.

There is no case included, but at the moment I do have a Hiscox Liteflite Mandolin case, which may fit....I will check that, and if so it could be available additionally at moderate price.

Check out the YouTube video I have embedded here, entitled "Led Zeppelin - Going To California (Live Earls Court 1975)"...plus an additional link to another clip from the same gig....really fine live performances, with great sound, and a few glimpses of the "Batwing" Harmony Mandolin JPJ is playing....the original USA version of course, with the DeArmond Goldfoil pickup, but a nice link, whilst I look for a clip of the H8026...possibly in vain. There are further however further demos of various other USA-made Harmony "Batwing" mandolins.
